SHIPPING INFO/TIPS
*Please do not ship your knife to me without first filling out the info form and getting my confirmation.*
HOW TO SEND:
- Please fill out my info/request form to get started. Do not send me any knives without talking to me first.
- Always send with Signature Required. I do not want packages left unattended. Please send me the tracking number ASAP.
- $5 shipping credit! I will cover the first $5 of the return shipping fee, even international packages.
- I prefer USPS Priority shipping. If you prefer UPS or FEDEX, please specify so in advance.
- I can ship directly to your client for you, and I'll throw in a BONUS 5x7 print for them!
- I will reuse your box - please make sure it is large enough to accommodate an 8.5x11 photo print. (If the box is not big enough, that $5 shipping credit will be used to send the separate photo mailer.)
- Invoices will be sent after the image is approved. Knife/photo will be shipped out after payment is received.
BOXING TIPS:
- Package your knife like a world champion boxer is going to play volleyball with it - because that's exactly how the mail handles packages.
- Avoid movement inside the box - the less room for movement, the less likely for damage to happen.
- Send knives either inside their own sheath, or wrap the blade in a cardboard protector or cellophane. You don't want your knife cutting it's way out of the package. Even if it's in a padded zippered case, you will want to wrap the blade for extra protection.
- If possible, avoid branding and other elements on the outside of the package that may indicate what is inside the box. Theft does unfortunately happen, so let's try and prevent that by not publicly advertising what's inside.
INSURANCE:
I do not currently have shipping insurance available to cover knives in the event of a missing package or damage during shipping. I recommend you get your own insurance, whether it's by adding it on when shipping knives out or getting insurance from a reliable company. I have heard great things from makers about Collectibles Insurance Services, or getting an Inland Marine coverage with your existing home or business insurance policy.

An invoice will be sent after you review and approve the completed image. Invoices are sent via Quickbooks, where you can pay with your preferred payment method (credit card, paypal, bank transfer.)
After approval & payment, photos are final. Requests to make any adjustments to the image after this cannot be made.
Wait time:
Turnaround time for in-studio work is generally no more than two weeks from shipment arrival. It may be longer or shorter depending on my current workload.
Rush orders:
There will be an additional $60 fee if you request a rush turnaround on any photos.
